Each month brings a new,
Flowers, trees, hopes, dream and much more...
Throughout the long year...

January: “Matsu”
The fragrant pine trees,
Signifies the arrival
Of a grand new year.

Feburary: “Ume”
With snow still present,
spring begins to slowly show.
Giving hope to some.

March: “Sakura”
Spring arrives this month
Encouraging new wishes.
Desiring grand change.

April: “Fuji”
The rainy month brings,
Next month’s elegant flowers,
And bountiful floods

May: “Ayame”
With bountiful floods,
Little, elegant flowers,
Begin to peak out.

June: “Botan”
The year is half way,
A break begins for children,
and nature’s entrance.

July: “Hagi”
Patriotism,
Countries’ rise, and countries’ fall,
Creating our earth.

August: “Susuki”
Cicadas crying,
Bring an elegant end to
the days of warm summer.

September: “Kiku”
Leaves begin to turn,
Their many passionate shades
A romantic fall.

October: “Momiji”
The last of leaves fall,
Bringing winter closer,
Snow begins to fall.

November: “Yanagi”
Thankfulness given,
To special people we love.
Soon a new start comes.

December: “Kiri”
The year starts it’s end.
Celebrating many ends.
Promise of new year.
