A new year begins
with it high aspirations,
out with the old and
in with the new.
Bad habits thrown away
better one's in there place,
this one's going to be a good one.
Dreams will become reality,
wishes will finally come true,
more good days than bad ones.
Places to visit and sights to see
jobs to be finished off,
that book to be read
that movie to be seen
that language to be learnt.
Above all take each day as it comes,
be thankful, be contented, be happy,
this can (will) be a really good year!
