Life is a mystery…
In each crossroads, I’ve met people, forgotten who and how they were to me.
Most often, I don’t even remember how I was with them.
And I didn’t mind.
Years have abandoned my youth, abandoned my carefree attitude…
I am now getting old.
TO MY SURPRISE…
I look behind and see faces and silhouettes of acquaintances…
Known to me somewhere in the past.
I bestowed…
I passed-on, walked-by through those apparently insignificant years.
I have to confess…
I need to go back through those years of my life
I’ve stayed devoted…
To see faces of friends, to revisit those places I’ve been,
To recollect the souvenirs of my college days.
My vision got blurred; tears fell and curiously my lips open with a smile,
This second encounter is inevitably reviving,
Gives me hope to my yearning…
To see again my friends
That had partaken my unforgettable years.
NOW I REALIZED…
Friends are treasures that keep me rich with memories,
Whatever the years and the distance might taken aback…
My heart excitedly beats to the thoughts that I will see them again
My long, lost dear friends…
No matter how life had been to all of us…
Neither it had strengthen us up or had bended our bodies
What counts most is that we are what we are…
Sharing our today’s and tomorrow’s destinies.
