Sunken with sorrow
In a mawkish way,
I used to loiter through the narrow
paths, to exhume my days.

Those were the gone days......

I was not staunch,
Neither loyal.
I used to get thrown away
From almost everywhere.

Those were the gone days......

Envying others was a norm,
For I had no experiences.
Being so coinceited
was yet another reason for that.

Those were the gone days......

But those gone days were teachers.
Now, got rid of the shyness in me;
Now, I'am asked everywhere;
Now, I learned to love others.

Those were the go..
No
This is the reality......

(this is the poem that i wrote during the versification competition-youth festival- in my school.
well, i got third prize!)
