I look in my mirror and what do I see?
A young child at play
so happy and gay
looking at me

I look in my mirror and what do I see?
A boy in his youth
seeking the truth
looking at me

I look in my mirror and what do I see?
A teenage rebel having his say
on a knife`s edge, finding his way
looking at me

I look in the mirror and what do I see?
A promising young man
doing the best that he can
looking at me

I look in the mirror and what do I see?
A groom with his bride,
all his family beside
looking at me

I look in the mirror and what do I see?
A father so proud
he`s shouting out loud
looking at me

I look in the mirror and what do I see?
A middle aged man
half way through life`s span
looking at me

I look in the mirror and what do I see?
A doting grandfather with babe on his arm
laughing and smiling at innocent charm
looking at me

I look in the mirror and what do I see?
A lonesome old person behind a closed door,
the love of his life is with him no more
looking at me

I look in the mirror and what do i see?
all of my memories the happier kind.
Reflecting in the mirror of my mind
looking at me.

I look in the mirror and what do I see?
Of me not a trace!
a vacuous space
where i should be
