Watching curiously
The people passing by

Lazy cat on the windowsill
Seems much more happy
Than you and I

Sleeping puppy lying in the sun
Feet in the air
not a care in the world

Sleeping and dreaming
Puppy’s only concern is:
‘How to catch that squirrel’

Lazy cat wondering
where the people
are hurrying to

Lil’ puppy
Content
With nothing to do

I’m pretty confident
That both the dumb cat and the dog
Are waaaay smarter….than me and you
