IDENTITY

love is an identity
Of the two
Out to stake themselves
For each other
The lovers come out
Of their dingy cells
To revel in the unknown
It is an agony, an ecstasy
Sidestepping the border line
Between heaven and hell
All reprocessing
All recasting
All recreating.
