Darkness crept in from later day-
And began its descent with colours of dusk 'round...
Lavender to mauve blushed into much darker hues-
Befoe the ink black extinguished the day and its sound;
As life pulsed within and without its full circle...
Solitude of tranquility made itself known-
Known to strangers of the long cold night...
Just outside the wooded forest-a refuge of stone;
For there are shadows of the tempest tossed-
All borne and bred in fables now told...
Hidden 'neath the cuff of deepest night splintered-
Solitary in the darkness of bitter cold;
Alone in the abyss of daylights once clear view-
Huddled in the twilights last gleaming...
Western horizon brush stroked into final dusks passion-
While in my bed-i slumber on-sweet dreaming;
