I failed to read between lines
Time was running out and not fine
I was to loose whatever was in possession
It was soon to do away with wrong obsession
You always think of time when it was clicking fast
Everything seemed fine with no doubts to cast
Time and tide to favour more and last
Spreading influence over the areas vast
Tempo was running high with sun’s shine
Merry making and end with club’s wine
Soon felt it was out of tune when crumbled under weight
It was first sign to loose prestige and height
Wealth and wine search company of women
Think of deadliest combination and bad omen
What more to expect when one seals the fate?
To retrieve the steps and correct may be very late
Who is to be blamed for our down fall?
Did we respond to signal and timely call?
If not, then share the blame and prepare for worst
You may live to witness it as person first
Nothing stops you from scaling the height
Things may go in your favour even if you don’t wait
Stars may brighten up and luck will smile
Troubles at bay and no hurdles for while
You have to ride on rising waves
Fortune favours and helps the braves
Cowards may look while sitting at fence
You may continue to enjoy with extra pence
Wealth and fame may not stay for longer
You should develop appetite and hunger
Not to feel contended with little gain
Ready to surge and maximum to attain
You can avoid grave danger from looming
Fortune may favour even while home coming
This may strengthen and help not only to combat
But to curb the deadliest attempt from attacking
