Look at me
What do you see?
Do you see a beautiful woman or a loud, ignorant woman?
Please, I beg you, don’t be quick to judge. See I’m not like the rest of them you talk about.
I wouldn’t cut you
I wouldn’t steal from you,
And I damn sure wouldn’t be ignorant like you.
I see you creating negative images about me, why is that?
Is it because I’m a couple shades darker than you, or is it because I have a unique glow to my skin and I might outshine you.
Of course I’ll outshine you; it’s what I do best!
My skin is soft, silky, and smooth and I love it.
But please, I beg you, don’t be quick to judge.
Look at me
