(on what happened to our country recently)

one nation, one voice, united we stand
to rise up again from the ruins we suffered
there is always hope, we are strong
we can afford to smile again.

there must be sunshine after the rain
shining bright to keep us alive
our tears will dry, the flowers will sing
there must be healing..healing in our land..

in spirit, be with us now, stay with us
if only for a second, if only in a dream
then our hearts will be whole again
promising to rise up again...
