As you laid your head on your sweater in the back seat
I wasn't aware that you was in pain
because my mind and eyes were so weak
I made your world rain

Knowing that I'm the one who made you cry
I feel defeated and destroyed, i just want to die.
Trying to keep my tears from dripping into the endless sea
of regret, sadness, pain, and jealousy

Don't you know i will always love you
I never meant to hurt you
The way you ignored me when you got out of my car
A piece of myself Darkened & died like a burned out star.

All i do now is remember the things you did
All the way to the time when everyone thought we were kids
The way we used to sneak glances at each other
one after another
I still can imagine our smiles
And to the time you came to my house for the first time
Forever placed in my mind the time and date

Waking up into reality is the hardest thing
sitting here holding your ring
The only thing thats left is a shattered heart,
A guy with broken dreams
and broken wings
Only to be haunted by double edged memories
For eternity
