I had a friend very honest but poor,
Luck did not favour and blessings not shower,
Hardly you may find or class fewer,
I wondered but had no answer,
For any offer he may decline,
To help some body always incline,
Such was course but no good luck,
Successes less and bad luck struck,
Time was running out with so much strain,
Principles forced him to ask and refrain,
All my efforts for help in vain,
He was at the last stop of train,
Lay in bed with eyes starring at roof,
So much calm and staying aloof,
Something was in mind but difficult to tell,
Worries more but unable to spell,
Forced from all corners and looking sad,
No shave, no good cloths but not looking mad,
Situation forced him to look at sky,
Posing a question as to where and why?
I could read worries and emotions,
Less answers but many questions,
Could help nothing but only ask,
Is there any thing for my task?
No reply but calculated hint,
Money were not coming out of mint,
He may suffer hero’s fate,
Life was precious and nothing was late,
He may recover and walk so soon,
Won’t mind if not fed with spoon,
Glorious and bright may be after noon,
Nights also fine with shining moon,
Life to be lived ups and down,
Slight insult should not make you frown,
Try to absorb shock and pain,
Life may look fine with aim main,
