the sea is the mother of of rivers
bit by bit, the air soaks up vapour
to form breasts atop sky that
feed the rivers in every storm
and after that....taking their spiltovers,
in surges
inspired
My River runs to thee -
Blue Sea! Wilt welcome me?
My River wait reply—
Oh Sea—look graciously—
I'll fetch thee Brooks
From spotted nooks—
Say—Sea—Take Me!
