Pakistan and Korea became newly born countries after the World War II. Pakistan became independent on 14th August 1947 while Korea gained independence on 15th August 1948.
Since then, our cooperative relations have been steadily increasing.

A Korean week was recently held in Islamabad, and the Korean Foundation day was also celebrated on the occasion. To talk about that, Pakistan Korea cooperation and more, host Omar Khalid Butt interviewed the Ambassador of Korea to Pakistan H.E. Song Jong-Hwan, the Korean Adviser on National Security at the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chairman of the ISSI.
