[First line taken from a Chinese Proverb]
Shade and light are different in every valley,
Arriving at different angles and different hours.
Judge me not if my shadows fall upon different stones,
If my light illuminates different trees and flowers.
You live within your valley, and it's a splendid place,
And if I could, I would visit all the time.
I live within my valley-quite different, it's true,
But still, for me, my valley, I think, is fine.
So, if all the places we visited were the same,
Far and near, my valley here, your valley there,
To travel all over this wide world,
Would be just like going... nowhere.
