I.
Where up and on the sky, and when in heaven,
Shall the spring show it’s face,
And come down the rivers of fate,
To the red spirit within me?

II.
The light shines but once a while,
I see the ones I wish to see,
Of which are not meant for me.

III.
There are three that boil within me,
The Dragon
The Tiger
The Eternal Breath

IV.
The dragon within me,
Tricks me many a night.
The Tiger below me,
Drives me where I do not want to go.
The Eternal Spirit is that which is I.
I know.
I dream.
I begin to climb.
The fright in me has stopped me from seeing the beams of light,
Spring has shown me.

V.
Yet with eternal breath I beg for escape from the dragon -
The cause of my fear.
I beg for control over the tiger,
To have him when I wish,
And be rid of him when not in need.

VI.
I ask for help,
But to no avail.
Which is expected,
For only alone can I overcome and win.
