The days are shorter and nights still longer
Before they are gone, prove yourself stronger
Otherwise you will be aloof, lonely and stranger
considered as untrustworthy and in danger
Promises made in despair don’t hold ground
Work not appreciation and no applause found
Selfish motive can’t remain hidden for a long
One must asses and never try to go wrong
Simple piece of paper becomes legal tender
When it bears” promise to pay” words render
It is the faith and promise made by lender,
Signatory should honour and not by receiver
Hopes rise high when promises are made
Rain makes it possible when you dig with spade
It is not the trend but promises thrive the trade
Fulfillment earns you name along with grade
Promises are not made just in the air
When failed to keep, may split your hair
Prestige is at stake and stands beyond repair
No one will trust when you are in despair
It carries its meaning even in real
Wounds may be deep but words may heal
It is just trust that may be lost
Everything to loose with fame at huge cost
We always stick to our words
Pledges made on the name of lords
It is promise that you have to keep
No use if you repent and weep
It may be miles long to walk
It is not easy to sail with simple talk
You must fulfill before you go to sleep
Even though path may be difficult and steep
It is lovely to remain in lime light
Success may be yours without offering fight
You may come out victorious amidst situation tight
If you choose to stand firm and right
