It hurts but I’m obviously used to pain
I enjoy it
It makes me forget all my other problems
I may cut my wrist and black my eyes
But anyway what’s it to you
Why do people judge?
Just as you take joy in friends
We take joy in being with pain
It’s all that’s ever been dependable
And all that will ever be
Pain has not left me for one day of my life
But instead has welcomed me in it’s presence…
