Mexican authorities have detained three suspects in the case of the 43 missing Ayotzinapa students. The suspects confessed to murdering most of the missing students. They claim that the young people were choked and some burned alive in at a garbage dump in Cocula before being put in plastic bags and thrown into a local river. The parents of the students were discretely informed of the news prior to a press conference held by the country's Attorney General, but say they will not believe it until they are shown definitive DNA evidence, which will be extremely difficult to obtain if indeed the bodies were incinerated. The confessions made by the suspects fit correctly with other evidence gathered. teleSUR
