Diogenes sat in his drum
drank through a straw his Bundy rum.
He was by others deemed as wise
his wisdom came from eating flies.
You see, you may not know that they
contain a substance in their gray
and bland attire, plus their wings
that maketh intellectual things.
So wise Diogenes ingests
the local flies, and then he rests.
Inside his belly they do find
the rum that sends all insects blind.
As Bundy Rum is made by Brits
it gives not only flies the shits.
It does, however free the mind
and feeds the brain and makes you blind.
The wisdom of Diogenes
is based on flies and rum, no less.
