We watched a spider inch up the wall
It was maybe seven feet tall
To us that ment nothing at all
To him it's a horrible fall
'It was supposed' I came to decide
We witnessed a spider's suicide
I was sure he hadn't much time
But thats no way to end his climb
Another crawled into your throat
When he left there was no note
His fellow silk makers said 'We thought it was just for show'
His motives his family will never know
His daughter walked into all our foot trafic
The scene didn't look all that tragic
I'm sorry I'm not more sympathetic
To care about a f*****g spider when I have other things to worry about
