A child is born
The King has come to us this day,
To us this day
He's born to take our sins away,
And the gift God has bestowed

And will guide us with his light
That will shine for you and me.
The Son of God
And Christ the holy child has come,
This holy child
Who is so pure and undefiled.

The Saviour has come
The Saviour is here,
With a blessing from above
To bring hope and to dispel fear,
The eternal light

Will burn for evermore
And shine in Jesu's name.

A child is born
And born to bring us peace on earth,
Peace on this earth
We celebrate this wondrous birth,
In the town of Bethlehem
The choir of angels sing,
As the wise men from afar
Offer gifts unto the King.
The holy Son
Now lies within a stable bare,
A stable bare
Above a star is shining where.
