Just like that,
a click of the fingers
like thunder's echo
in a quiet forest...
you are gone.

A shadow once dancing
in sunlights spotlight,
now I walk alone
through darkness
once more.

Snapshots of happiness
remain in glass framed cages
unable to comfort.
Their mirrored stares
reveal sad eyes.

We once had warmth
within entangled days,
now memories
keep me awake
without you here.
Now memories
hold sacred our dreams
for each other.
