Just over the horizon,
Just behind the moon,
On the other side
Of the darkest shadows,
Lies the sun,
Waiting to shine,
To bring the light
To brighten the day.

Just beyond the
Darkest of shadows,
On the other side
Of the blue horizon,
Waits the day,
The circle of light
The brightest,
Just beyond the dark.

My heart searches the shadows,
My eyes long for the light,
My Spirit awaits the break of day
Which banishes the blackest night,
For yesterday has gone,
And tomorrow is yet to be - -
So, just for today,
I will be
The very best
I can be.
