I'll follow my heart
Wherever it takes me
Over the hillsides and valleys of green,
I'll walk across meadows
Where flowers are growing
The places I long for and places I've been.

I'll follow my heart
It's leading me onward
Through all the woodland and down country lane,
That's winding and turning
With hedgerows surrounding
And see all the beauty there time and again.

I'll follow my heart
To witness the treasure
The ranges of mountains that reach to the sky,
To see rivers flowing
In all of their splendour
With memories forever that shall never die.

I'll follow my heart
It's pulling me further
Out of the reach of the past left behind,
My prayers have been answered
And peace lives within me
Wherever I wander my true love I'll find.
