ANDREW BLAKEMORE - When April Wakes The Dawn Shall Sing

When April wakes the dawn shall sing
A graceful chorus sweet and long,
On blossomed boughs the birds shall rest
And fill the air with joyful song.

And when the pathless woodland's draped
In bluebells that shall ring for me,
Ten thousand peels their endless charm
The greatest sight a soul can see.

When sun does shine a ray of light
The signs of spring will thus appear,
The breeze will blow a warming breath
To fill the land with grateful cheer.
