She had a birthday
Just a few days ago...
And she is no longer a young chick,
For she just turned ninety-four! !

She remembered the very day
A school WAGON passed her way,
But she still had to walk
For it came too late for her.

She remembered very well, too,
The day a man walked on the moon...
And was amazed at what her life
Had seen come to pass!

Many loved ones have come and gone,
And charming Kathleen has lived long.
She is always very kind to me,
In sharing her love, you see.

Her head is crowned with snow,
And, in her age and wisdom,
Her beauty and her pride
Will continue to grow.

Yet her beautiful heart
Is younger than my own,
And her amazing spirit
Is ever joyful to behold.

From Century 1900
To Century 2000,
This amazing woman
Has journeyed far.
