CHOUDHURI SUKUMAR - Jealousy, Jealousies

Jealousy has no definitive form
except its embellishments

Suddenly at times when that too takes wings
why does fear grip me
Why does a deep sign seem to caress past
the metallic gust of breeze

Why can I engulfed in shame while recalling
the Varsity breeze and
Our yellow text books, our syllabi..........................

We unravel our apparels
countless handkerchefs of the body
And in the process of becoming nude steadily and
while becoming nude steadily
I camouflage all the envious ones
the jealousies I clothe them
