'Twas the night before Christmas

The poems were unfolding
And caused me to smile
There must be some magic
Still left in my pen
My thoughts began forming
Quite beautifully when...................
My mind was distracted
By some sort of noise
That sounded like static
Ah, , , , , , technical toys
And then my computer
Began to sing tunes
Some old Christmas carols
That Bing Crosby croons
'Bout snow and white Christmases
Long, long ago
Sweet childhood memories
These songs that I know
'Twas then I remembered
Two years had gone by
Since we became partners
Poemhunter and I
A wonderful present
I found on this site
And wonderful friendships
Have grown since that night
So to all fellow poets
I send you much cheer...........................
May your season be merry
And a Happy New Year!
