David Harris - I’d Trade All Of My Tomorrows

Of all the roads I’ve travelled,
the worst one was losing you.
Now I’d trade of all my tomorrows,
for just one of those yesterdays.
Those days when we would walk,
arm in arm down lovers lane,
and I would sit with my arm around your shoulders,
in the back row of the pictures,
when the evening came.
Oh, if I could only bring them back again.
The days when we were happy,
dancing in the rain,
but you have found someone new,
whose love you say
shines brighter than mine.
Now I guess my loneliness,
is just another sign of our times.
