When death comes knocking and calls your name.
It’s inevitable, life will not be the same.
No amount of fighting will keep you on this earth.

Death can come like a thief in the night.
It can come during travel taking flight.
Death can come with your eyes open wide.
One thing I know for sure, you certainly can’t hide.

Death is neither Good nor is it Evil,
It’s surreal and totally believable.
Dating back to the beginning of time,
Death takes us across that invisible line.

The Angel of death is like a glowing bright light.
Taking your side until the time is right.
A few quiet breaths and earths life is gone,
The shell remains, but the spirit lives on.
