Five am and my mind is clear as a cold drink of purified water
Which is a first for me because the only water I ever drank
Came from melted ice cubes in a drink of distilled rum
However, I've noticed something of late and I thought it just might
Help anyone who is considering giving up the booze to know
Now that my demons are all sober
They're kicking the crap out of my Bukowski....
