Blossom fills the trees with colour,
birds sing in the treetop high,
the sun bathes the world with warmth
and brightens up the sky.
Children run about,
enjoying the summer sun,
their parents look on,
remembering when they were young.
For a while the world is content,
to enjoy another beautiful new day.
Thoughts of raining storm clouds
seem a million miles away.
