Ted Sheridan - The Late Payments on Youthful Bliss

Another day spent in my Hell
Alone with my maturity and the pain
The sun is hanging out in a blue sky
And the air is cool and dry for a change
But it's still Hell inside my parental head
The seed of my loins has grown tall
Yet exhibits the shortcomings of the world
Having a sense of self entitlement
With absolutely no sense of responsibility
That apple fell far from my tree
Rolling over closer to her mother's
As a loving father and man of goodwill
I want to open my heart and my wallet
For I would die a thousand times over
If it would change her burden
But the truth I must face today
Is the truth she will have to face tomorrow....
Life is full of both joys and sorrows
Either or.....
The bills must still be paid
