Life is hard when you have so many obstacles and nothing is going right
Depression kicks in and now your goal is not even in sight
Your friends and family offer advice but your to depressed to listen.
So you just lay in the bed wondering what your going to do with your life
And just what it is that's missing.
You know what you want but it's not that easy to obtain some may say it'll take a miracle or a lot of money to gain. People doubt you and say you'll never make it
they don't know how to encourage you and give you confidence so they always
wanna take it by downing you and telling you 'You'll never be good enough' or by saying 'You can't make it on a job' they'd rather you live like them and just be a slob
That drags life down and barely makes it from check to check from Uncle Sam.
I got bigger goals for my life though cause I don't just wanna piece of the hog
I want the whole damn ham. I won't settle for no less than success
For I know that what ever I put my mind to I can be the best. Others may make jokes
And jest but I can tell you now I am not a slacker like the rest. I will obtain my goal
And have a life worth living, In a home worth having out in the country away from the troubles of day to day life with my dogs and my wife. So doubt me all you want to world and make all your insults and jokes cause one day you see me living large and you'll be so shocked you'll choke.
