Waiting i have been for the sun
And finally i can feel its rays on my skin...
After a long dark winter
Many tortured nights
My soul witnessed
The wracking of my grief stricken body
Curled up like a little big baby...

Many nights
Spent roaming
New lovers
Rekindling an old love
Many nights finding myself again
And reconnection with my girls...

Many nights praying
Seeking guidance in the old ways
Asking for support in my path to the truth
Many nights working
Many nights
The frogs come out at night
When the air is cold...

Goodbye to the chilling air
Welcome to the sun
AS i kiss this winter
For all that i have learnt and discovered
The nights of passion
The nights of pain
And all the nights i was numb...

I promise
That i will greet the sun
With the vitality
Of a new seed
Bursting toward light...

I feel reborne
Somehow
Brave
Ready to be myself
And not value myself
On love alone
Love from another...

Dreaming of the sun
For so long now it seems
A whisker away
I love the way i feel on the beach
With the sand and water
Swimming through currents and undertows
Feeling the energy of the water on my body
Making love in the sand dunes
Letting my hair go all ringlety
Wearing little or no clothing
And no makeup...

Dreaming of the sun
Dreaming has begun
Winters dream has gone
No more dark nights
When the night is long
And the moon is strong...
