Please don’t leave me,
Here in the dark,
The monster that hides,
Has teeth like a shark.
It’s black and green,
With eyes so red,
My friend saw it too,
And now he is dead.
It’s big and strong,
Has razor-sharp claws,
It sounds like an earthquake,
Each time it roars.
It’ll get me when I sleep,
When I’m closing my eyes,
It tries to make me relax,
By telling me lies.
“There’s no one here,
It’s just in you head”,
Then please explain,
The growling under my bed.
It’ll eat me for dinner,
Take my head for desert,
I don’t want to die,
And my screams won’t be heard.
Don’t leave me to die,
I beg of you,
Mommy don’t leave me,
That’s the worst you could do.
