Looking back on years gone past
She dwells on dreams she thought would last
Now nightmares exist, the love turned to dust
When hell was unleashed from a man she should trust

What went wrong she'll never know
With shocked surprise she takes the blow
With broken heart she cries in vain
When words of love become fists of pain

As lightning strikes and thunder rolls
Someone screams, the death bell tolls
Darkness falls with eerie silence
Love dies once more in bitter violence

Now with cautious steps she walks this life
No longer a stranger to pain and strife
When beasts arise to block her path
She's ready for battle, they'll face her wrath
