You Can’t Force Creativity

Alright
I gotta come up with another poem
It’s ok
I enjoy writing
Shit!
Does it have to rhyme?
I’m running out of time
Haha, there’s a rhyme
I think that that’s the only kind of literary device I’m gonna use
Hey man, I don’t wanna lose
My Creativity
It floats above me
I don’t wanna let go of the string
My balloon will float to the sky
Or someone pops it
I don’t wanna see it die
I wanna see it fly like the angel that you are
I don’t think I know what this poem is about so far
Whatever
As long as I get an A
Cause then I could say
Hey, I got an A in Creative Writing
Honestly, I’m not feeling very creative right now
I kinda just wanna put my head down
And sleep
And pray to the “Lord” my soul to keep
And if I die before I wake
They’ll probably just bury my where I’ll rot
Unless something proves me otherwise
Alright
This poem is winding down
I wish I was in my bed
With some kickass music
Swimming throughout my head
Ok,
What’s something that rhymes with head?
Dead!
Yea, I wish I was dead.
No, not really
At least not yet
So this poem proves to me
That you cannot force Creativity
