Though I am far away from my motherland and sleeps on a strange soil.
My dream is the mother of pearl and my laments in mother tongue always.
My dear brothers and sisters,
Why you raise weapons against your own brothers?
We live together and die together
And what is the purpose of struggling to make boundaries on this tiny heart?
When this heartbeat stops we all go to the common graveyard!
That journey too we can go together peacefully
As the earth knows we all are in the same family.

Dedication to the Portuguese author Jose.Maria.Eca de Queiros for his superb novel ' The sin of father Amaro'
