Because you are yourself I can be me
I can express what I want what I feel
I can wear what I like feeling so free
Knowing your love for me is mighty real

I can speak my mind when you are around
I dont have to hide what I feel deep down
No matter how daft things might sometimes sound
If I laugh or cry or act like a clown

I know that when Im sad you are sad too
You trust me and I trust you in return
You take me for who I am but thats you
And I forever learn the things you learn

You give me with all that you have to give
But most of all you make me want to live
