Do not be fooled by
the wonderous words
the poets often write.
For they are merely
magicians who can
turn darkness into light.
With their word wand
they can transport you
to places even unreachable
through dreams.
They talk of love and they
talk of the despair,
but behind those words
what is really there.
A mind of evil
a mind of malice.
maybe even
a closet rascist.
They present us with
a slender body of words
to lure us into there world.
Do not be fooled by there
pencil or pen.
I have written a book
on the beauty of insects;
just last night
I killed three slugs
with a snow storm of salt.
