You'd Never Guess
By the wretched looks of us
That this is happiness.

Be it that this life brought on more stress
With less and less time to discuss
You'd Never Guess...

Back then, when she said 'yes'
And 'She' and 'I' became 'Us'
I thought: 'This is happiness! '

Nowadays our house is such a mess
Like, …The kids came and we can't adjust!
You'd Never Guess…

As you rise above the loudness
And try to contain all their fuss
You think: 'This is happiness? '

Seen from outside, it's sheer madness.
This family's a three-ring circus!
You'd Never Guess...
That this is happiness.
