Darkness foreshadowed illness,
Blood made it true.

There were flowers of pity,
Hand trembling prayer.

Tears flowed through streets,
Glass shattering screams.

I was born the day the sun did not shine,
The day i was told the world had fallen,
The day families died.

Two planes crashed into buildings,
The sky was ablaze with hatred,
Ashes showered the earth.

And my mother held me,
Tighter into her bosom,
Promising never her child,
Never her child.
