Misplaced and manipulated
in a suddenly eternal
rampancy of modulating forces:
some identified, others unreal.
Standing on a sitting chair
you peer so far you see only you,
hurtling around Baal's fiery eye
on a cosmic phenomenon
of sorts.
Surfacing from the netherthere
only to drown and sink down,
be crushed and corrode, diffuse,
but then
you look down at your shoes
and it seems as if when
you tread on the Earth,
you are heaving the heavens
and insisting the world
