Somewhere in the pacific
Is a tiny raft that floats
Where the strength and will of one to live
Hangs on within this boat
The lone survivor,
Of the ship the Miranda Lea
Three days ago it capsized,
Now lost is he at sea
With his hands in the water
He cups it across his face
He looks in all directions
So alone is this place
He thinks about his woman
He may never see again
To hold her in his arms
Gives him strength to each days end
The long and hard hot long days
The long and cold, cold nights
He is fighting simply just to live
He is fighting to survive
The sole survivor
The strength and will of the one
The will to live
The dreams and hopes of the one
He wakes up on the fourth day
A sea gull overhead
In the distance he can see the land
He is alive and he's not dead
He will be coming home
He will hold her in his arms
The strength and will of the one to live
He kept her in his heart
The sole survivor
The strength and will of the one
The will to live
The dreams and hopes of the one.
