someday when i'm older,
i will know how to write,
to draw pictures with my words
of days that were once bright.

someday when i am older,
i will give up my views,
learn to sit on the couch,
and accept the evening news.

someday when i am older,
i will no longer see,
what ifs, unknown futures,
and our possibilities.

someday when i am older,
i will learn how to fly,
to let go of these matters
and to peacefully die.
