Inflection in the charismatic timbre of the great orator -
Recall, it was Churchill whose iron words galvanized his great island
In that we shall never surrender operandi -
They didn’t.
Who am I
To question the boundless ends of motivation
Of those encircled by flames of adversity,
Or afflicted with exotic plagues
Are they to cast their hands at destiny?
Or is it simply by chance that a single voice invariably
Always rises, issuing the fire of resolve
From the summit of Olympus
Christ, to his disciples, in an act of organizing,
In an act of ordering chaos, taught,
Our Father, who art in heaven
Simple phrases that forever altered time’s winding course
And focus
Inflection in the charismatic timbre of the great orator
From the resonance of Martin Luther King, I have a dream,
To the coruscated plains of equity
It brings us comfort that we’ve come to know
There will always be light in destiny’s flow
Let’s roll
