Deeply loving
In a mellifluous, winging way,
Deeply joyous
In a singing plethora
Of delight,
We go toward lauds of day.
Not causing others to recognize it,
Yet gratified when they do,
We exult in the rapture given to us
Who must realize our debt
To forces within and without
Beyond reckoning
Of personal intellect,
As we bend to the rejuvenation
Of beauty
When it may be sustained
In the bellicose environment
Of perceived information and
Deeply antithetical
Self-example,
Passion being its own protector.
